LegalBestPractice is part of the Centre for Best Practice, an organisation dedicated to improving performance in the services sector. The Centre, through its subsidiary LegalBestPractice, uses a number of methods designed to meet the needs of the individual service provider. The company was formed in 2003 by a leading practitioner in law firm management. The company, whilst young, brings together an extensive range of expertise gained from three decades of working with lawyers in Australasia, The EU and the Far East. Ashley Balls, a founding partner of the Centre is widely regarded in management circles having lectured on practice management, facilitated retreats, delivered seminars to Law Societies, published newsletters, spoken at conferences and authored "Law Firms - managing for profit", Federation Press, Sydney ISBN 1862872805.
